The Satanic Church (Church of Satan) is something you might want to stay away from. LaVey might be considered by some as a good spokes person / writer, but his establishment, under my opinion, is a scam. They require you to spend over 200 USD ($) in order for you to join them...People might feel awful not being able to pay that amount in order to join the organization they want. Although keep in mind there is a great alternative. The Satanic Temple. You can join them for free or for a membership card you pay 25 USD ($). Under my opinion you should not pay to join your belief. If you believe in something you are a part of it you pay or not. If you believe in LaVey's beliefs means you are a part of the Church of Satan in your heart and that is the most important thing for faith.
